I have a fix, try to open Photoshop then open task manager (Click on the windows icon and type in \”task manager\”) then in task manager it. Close Adobe Photoshop, if running · Delete Extension: · Delete Plug-in and Generator folder – Go to /Applications/Adobe Photoshop CC /Plug-ins.

A little more complicated actually. I\’ve had no problems for a couple of months since I installed High Sierra, but Photoshop refused to open today.

I thought I might as well update it so I installed CC It won\’t open either. Neither version will. I tried to restart my computer but it says that Photoshop CC is preventing shut down, even after I force-quit it.

Perhaps I made a mistake in allowing it to keep preferences from the older version. But what can I do now to get out of this situation? Thank you! The maximum file size is 47 MB.
