And forget about the retail version of this product as well. It costs several hundred dollars. I had some issues logging on to the Microsoft website for a number of hours while trying to download the product because of maintenance proceedings that were taking place.

I was kind of frustrated by that because I had things to do and places to be and the key code was only good for three days. I was happy when I finally got to access the site and was able to download the product. The download process went pretty smoothly after that and the product is working flawlessly. This is my second purchase of this product. The first one is installed on my Windows 10 laptop and this one is installed on a new Windows 10 desktop system build.

It might work, and it might not work, but saving the Office setup file might come in handy if the need arises.

However, the instructions from Microsoft for the installation ask for your current version of Office to be uninstalled which I did and in doing so lost all my emails and was unable to add back my email that I used. I normally do this but was too quick to follow their instructions.

I think I liked Office as it was easier to use and less complicated as there are applicatoins with which I will never use and some of the applications like outlook seem to be more gimmicky.
